Yes. The .pdf version of the CUBED is FREE to download and print for your needs. The authors of the CUBED (which include the Narrative Language Measures and Dynamic Decoding Measures) have desired this assessment be made available to the world to access and print at no cost.

Another way to access the CUBED assessments is through CUBED Insight – a paid subscription and allows you to digitally test, via touch-screen or point/click on tablet or computer, as well as instantly access results, run reports, and see suggestions for interventions.

Does the CUBED replace the TNR (Test of Narrative Retell), TPG (Test of Personal Generation) and TSC (Test of Story Comprehension)?

Yes. The CUBED combines the Test of Narrative Retell, the Test of Story Comprehension, and the Test of Personal Generation in to what is now referred to as the Narrative Language Measures (NLM). All of these assessments have been conveniently combined onto one form, to score in real time. In addition to these assessments, the CUBED also includes the Dynamic Decoding Measures which measures Phonemic Awareness, Word Identification, and Decoding.
